For the first time since 2007, WWE heads to Detroit for one of its “Big Four” PPV events. SummerSlam is coming to Ford Field on August 5.
The event airs on Peacock in the U.S. and the WWE Network outside it.
While we don’t know the outcome of the matches, what we do know is what may kick things off. Logan Paul faces Ricochet in a grudge bout that started at the Royal Rumble in January. Both performed top-rope clotheslines and got into it at the Money in the Bank event. Now they will face off in another singles match for Paul since signing with WWE.
Regardless of the outcome, Paul will look to leave Detroit in time to make his brother Jake’s boxing fight against Nate Diaz in Texas.

One of the premier fights on the card will be Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar. At Backlash, Rhodes beat Lesnar via rollup. Lesnar got his revenge, beating Rhodes at Night of Champions and breaking his arm. Now, the trilogy will look to settle things once and for all.
Also on the card will Seth “Freakin” Rollins defending the WWE World Heavyweight Title against Finn Balor, while Roman Reigns defends the Undisputed WWE Universal Title against Jey Uso. Asuka defends the WWE Women’s Title against Charlotte Flair and Bianca…
