The road to WrestleMania begins at WWE’s signature event, the Royal Rumble.
The event and Royal Rumble match comes to Lucas Oil Stadium on February 1. In the U.S., the event is available on Peacock.
Created in 1988, the event features a men’s and women’s Royal Rumble match with 30 participants competing in an over-the-top-rope challenge.
The last person in both Rumble matches earns an opportunity at a championship of their choosing at WrestleMania 41 in April.
Cody Rhodes won the match for the second straight year, outlasting CM Punk and Drew McIntyre. He took advantage of his win last year and won the Undisputed WWE championship from Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40. Will Punk or McIntyre get the job done this year?

What about Reigns, who competes in his first Rumble match since 2020? There’s also John Cena, competing in his last Royal Rumble match.
On the women’s side, Bayley, last year’s winner, looks to win two straight. Joining her will be fellow Horsewomen Charlotte Flair, returning from injury.
Rhodes will be in action at the event, defending the Undisputed WWE Title in a ladder match against Kevin Owens.
