The road to WrestleMania 40 makes a pitstop in Tampa, Florida, as the Royal Rumble takes place in Tropicana Field on January 27. The event airs on Peacock in the U.S. and the WWE Network worldwide.
Created by Pat Patterson, the Royal Rumble event and match has been a tradition since 1988. There will be a men’s and women’s match, with 30 participants in each contest. The last person standing in both Rumble matches earns an opportunity at a championship of their choice at WrestleMania in April.
