16-year-old Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva, in a recent interview after the victory against the Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska, at the Lausanne Open, expressed what will be her goals for the end of the year.Her strong performance at Wimbledon helped her reach No.

66 in the WTA ranking. But the young Russian teenager still has other ambitions for the end of the season.She explained: “In the beginning of the year, I wanted to be in the top 70, but now I’m 66 so one goal is done. But till the end of the year, maybe to be in the top 50.

If I can do it, it would be amazing for me for sure, but If not, I have maybe 20 more years to do that. So I think I will get a chance to be top 50.”Mirra was then eliminated by Anna Bondar in the round of 16, in Lausanne.
