Transylvania Open continues to amaze the participating players. After all, the tournament currently unfolding in Cluj-Napoca earned the award of the best WTA250 tournament in 2022. This time, the organizers brought some of the participating players, including Romanian Ana Bogdan and American Alycia Parks, to the Steampunk Transylvania Museum.

Transylvania Open is “at much higher standards”
Sorana Cirstea, who was upset in the first round of the tournament by German Eva Lys, praised Transylvania Open for their organizational skills.
“This tournament is at much higher standards than a WTA 250. Everything is exemplary, and I am very proud, just like the other Romanian athletes, of what has been achieved here. (…) I asked my coach to plan in such a way that I arrive in Cluj in the best possible shape.
I sincerely hope to stay here until the final, if possible. It’s a strong tournament, and I believe there will be beautiful matches, and the audience will have a lot to see. I’m very excited to be here with you in Cluj,” Sorana Cîrstea said at the…
