The two Women’s Super League Manchester derbies will be played at Old Trafford and the Etihad Stadium this season.
Last season, the fixtures were played at United’s regular home ground, the Leigh Sports Village, while the reverse match taking place at the Eithad. That game, which finished 1-1, attracted a crowd of 44,259.
This season’s Old Trafford fixture, scheduled for November 19, will be the first to be played at the historic stadium.
“These fixtures represent one of the biggest rivalries in world football and it is fitting that both games will take place in stadiums that provide more fans with the opportunity to attend and support us,” United boss, Marc Skinner said.
