France’s 2-1 victory on a late goal by Wendie Renard has France in the driver’s seat to win the group, while Brazil need a win at all costs on the final day against Jamaica to keep their World Cup dreams alive.
Brazil are still looking to make a deep run in the tournament in what will be the legendary Marta’s final World Cup, whilst France are aiming high, last reaching the semifinals in 2011, and they hope new coach Herve Renard can lead them to that goal.
Jamaica are still undefeated so far in the tournament and will give Brazil all they can handle as the Reggae Girlz dream of a shock Round of 16 berth.
