Women’s Running podcast hits 200 episodes!

Date:

It’s everyone’s favourite running podcast – or, at least, we like to think so. The Women’s Running podcast has just hit 200 episodes and we’re celebrating with a very special episode that looks back at some of our favourite moments.

When it launched in Spring 2020, we hoped the Women’s Running podcast would encourage a few more women to run, and that we might get a few more subscribers to the magazine in the process.

We had no idea that, four years later, it would result in over a million downloads, hundreds of you signing up to run in-person races with us, a Bake Off spin-off show and a live event.

We swear, we cry, we discuss intimate chafing, pooing in bushes, and the men who don’t understand why Women’s Running exists. And, thanks to the listeners, we’ve been able to do this for countless hours – hopefully providing some useful bits as well as some entertainment on your runs.

From the early days interviewing our running heroes, to the practical training workshops, to the present day episodes where we read your (usually poo related) stories, we’ve loved every second of it.

Thank you for tuning in and making it possible. And if you’ve never listened, now’s the time to check it out!
