The First Four games were the appetizer. Now that we have a full field of 64 teams in the women’s NCAA Tournament bracket, it’s time for the main course.
March Madness will kick into high gear on Friday with 16 first-round games on the schedule. No. 1 overall seed South Carolina will attempt to remain undefeated when it faces No. 16 Presbyterian, but the Gamecocks won’t be the only national title contender in action.

Texas, the No. 1 seed in the Portland 4 Region, will meet No. 16 Drexel in its tournament opener. Ohio State and Stanford both earned No. 2 seeds in their regions and will take on Maine and Norfolk State, respectively.
No. 3 LSU has its eyes set on back-to-back championships, but the Tigers can’t look too far ahead. Their journey begins with a matchup against No. 14 Rice in the Albany 2 Region.
