It’s time to go dancing.
March Madness competition on the women’s side started March 15 with the First Four. The remaining 64 teams are hungry for a chance to play at American Airlines Arena in Dallas, the site of the 2023 Women’s Final Four and national championship game.
South Carolina is coming in as the reigning titleholders, with an undefeated record and conference tournament title. The Gamecocks are the obvious favorites, but the conversation is growing to include Indiana, Stanford and Virginia Tech, who were all awarded top seeds, as well as Iowa and UConn, who were awarded 2-seeds.
