Women’s March Madness live bracket 2025: Updated NCAA field of 68, seeds, snubs revealed on Selection Sunday

With Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, Cameron Brink and countless other stars taking their talents to the WNBA in 2024, the 2024-25 women’s college basketball season offered a platform to cultivate the next crop of hoop supernovas.

It more than delivered over the ensuing five months. Standouts young and old surged into the national consciousness, some drawing gazes for their eye-catching production, others enchanting the masses with the artistry by which they played.

No player was more effective at blending the two than USC sophomore JuJu Watkins. The 6-2 guard authored up a campaign for the ages in 2024-25, taking home a litany of awards after posting averages of 24.6 points, 6.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.2 steals and 1.9 blocks for the 28-3 Trojans.

Watkins is the favorite for National Player of the Year honors. She also has her talent-laden squad poised for a strong showing in the tourney.

She’s not alone, however. UCLA downed USC in its final meeting , capturing the Big Ten title in the process. With prospective 2025 No. 1 pick Lauren Betts leading the way, the Bruins are well-equipped to make a deep run in the postseason.
