The Women’s Final Four matchups are set, and we’re getting the matchup everyone wanted to see: Undefeated South Carolina vs. the Iowa Hawkeyes and their superstar Caitlin Clark. Tipoff is set for 9 p.m. ET Friday from American Airlines Center in Dallas. LSU and Virginia Tech will meet in the other semifinal at 7 p.m. Both games will be broadcast on ESPN.
South Carolina is an 11.5-point favorite against Iowa after beating Maryland 86-75 in the Elite Eight on Monday night. The Terrapins led 21-15 after the first quarter, but the Gamecocks outscored Maryland 23-9 in the second quarter to take control. South Carolina is also favored to win the national title at -330, an implied win probability of more than 75 percent.
Sunday’s championship game is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
Iowa vs. South Carolina will be billed as Clark vs. Aliyah Boston and company. How will Clark perform against the undefeated Gamecocks? She posted a triple-double with 41 points in their Elite Eight win against Louisville. The Cardinals attempted to slow down Clark, but they found no answers as she contributed to a majority of the Hawkeyes offense either through scoring or assisting.
