The Final Four of the Women’s NCAA Tournament will be held in Columbus, Ohio in 2027, Indianapolis in 2028, San Antonio in 2029, Portland, Ore. in 2030 and Dallas in 2031, the NCAA Divison I Women’s Basketball Committee announced Monday. Here’s what you need to know:
- Portland, the only new host of that group, will stage the games at the Moda Center — marking the first time the event takes place in Oregon.
- Columbus will host at Nationwide Arena, Indianapolis at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, San Antonio at the Alamodome and Dallas at American Airlines Center.
Backstory
The women’s Final Four is scheduled to go to Dallas in 2023, Cleveland in 2024, Tampa, Fla. in 2025 and Phoenix in 2026. South Carolina won the 2022 national title at the Target Center in Minneapolis.
Columbus previously hosted the women’s Final Four in 2018. Indianapolis previously hosted in 2005, 2011 and 2016. San Antonio hosted in 2002, 2010 and 2021 (when the entire tournament was played in one region). Dallas previously hosted in 2017.
