Iowa’s Caitlin Clark became Division I women’s basketball’s all-time leading scorer in 2024, breaking a seven-year-old record held by Washington’s Kelsey Plum.
Caitlin Clark came back effortlessly to break the record after falling eight points short during Sunday, Feb. 11 game vs. Nebraska. On Thursday’s highly anticipated matchup against Michigan, Clark broke the all-time DI scoring record with a long-range bomb from the center-court logo. The nation’s leading scorer erupted for a career-high 49 points, shooting 16-for-31 from the field in addition to 8 free throws.
