Like never before, women can join the World Golf Hall of Fame in an unprecedented and numerous way. Dottie Pepper, Sandra Palmer, Cristie Kerr, and the late Beverly Hanson are nominated in the female category. In addition, seven founding members of the Ladies Professional Golf Association are also among the finalists in the category reserved for those who have made an extraordinary contribution to the growth of golf.

Among the men, candidates for induction into the World Golf Hall of Fame include Padraig Harrington, Jim Furyk, and the late Tom Weiskopf and Johnny Farrell.

“The Nominating Committee has selected finalists who represent the highest caliber of competitors and contributors. Congratulations to everyone who has been nominated for this special recognition,” said Greg McLaughlin, executive director of the World Golf Hall of Fame, a few days ago.
