The WNBA Playoffs are here.
After three teams were vying for the eighth and final playoff spot on the last night of the regular season, all seeds have been determined and the first-round matchups are set.
The Dream captured the final seed with a win over the No. 1 seeded Liberty, and the two teams will face off in Round 1. Atlanta is in the playoffs for the second straight year, while Breanna Stewart and the Liberty are looking for New York’s first championship after falling short last season.
This year’s likely MVP A’ja Wilson and the two-time defending champion Aces are back in the playoffs and will face the Storm, who missed out on the postseason in 2023. The Aces are looking to complete a three-peat under Becky Hammon.
The No. 3 Sun, led by Alyssa Thomas and Dewanna Bonner, will face off against Caitlin Clark and the Fever after Indiana made its first postseason since 2016.
The last matchup will feature the No. 2 Lynx, who won the Commissioner’s Cup championship earlier this season, and the Mercury, potentially marking Diana Taurasi’s final postseason run.
Teams will play a best-of-three series in the first round and a best-of-five series in the semifinals and finals.
