WNBA: Mystics take control of No. 8 seed with win over Dream, 72-69

From an 0-12 start to the season to a playoff berth?

After their 72-69 win over the Atlanta Dream on Friday night, the Washington Mystics are in position to make it happen. Washington’s win, in combination with the Chicago Sky’s loss to the Minnesota Lynx, gives the Mystics control of the No. 8 seed. At least for now. Atlanta will have the opportunity to avenge the loss when the teams meet again on Sunday afternoon in DC.
