WNBA: Four EuroLeague Women players trying to make final rosters

Date:

Before each WNBA season, players sign training camp contracts in hopes of making a final roster. Regardless of their age and experience, some of them will never get their shot, while others will finally reach their dream and become WNBA rookies. Here are four established players who shined in the 2023-24 EuroLeague Women season and now have a shot at making their debut in the W.

Throughout the competition, she averaged 4.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.3 steals, but during the crucial games, she stepped up. In Mersin’s first quarterfinal game against Zaragoza, she had 10 points and 10 rebounds, while in the semifinal against Fenerbahçe she played her best game this season, with 13 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals. Époupa has yet to make her WNBA debut, and at this point of her career, it might be now or never.

Brianna Fraser (New York Liberty/KGHM BC Polkowice)
