Diana Taurasi is about to reach a career milestone that will add to her case as the greatest player in WNBA history.
Heading into Thursday night’s game against the Dream, the Mercury star is only 18 points away from reaching 10,000 career points. She will soon become the first WNBA player to ever hit that mark.
But even if Taurasi suddenly decided to retire and leave basketball behind forever, she would still have a very comfortable lead atop the league’s all-time scoring list.
