There is less than a week remaining until opening night in the WNBA, and teams have started to pare down their rosters. The biggest move thus far was the Golden State Valkyries waiving Shyanne Sellers, who had a big draft night slide into the second round. The former Maryland star has since signed a training camp contract with the Atlanta Dream.
Elsewhere, the Las Vegas Aces waived former Harvard star Harmoni Turner, while the Indiana Fever are down to 12 players after waiving second-round pick Bree Hall and third-round pick Yvonne Ejim. The Fever will likely only carry 11 players into the season due to salary cap concerns, so there is one more cut to be made in Indianapolis.
