Serbian star Novak Djokovic will be looking to claim an eighth Wimbledon title when the action gets under way on Monday July 3, to equal the record currently held by tennis maestro Roger Federer.
His preparation couldn’t have gone much better this season so far. Wins at the Australian Open and French Open have seem him take top spot for the most men’s major titles ever won (23) and as a result, he arrives in SW19 as the bookmakers favourite to win here again.
There are plenty of challengers on the horizon however, namely current world number one Carlos Alcaraz who will be aiming for his maiden Wimbledon title this season. Fellow top five seeds Daniil Medvedev, Casper Ruud and Stefanos Tsitsipas also all look well-placed for a deep run in the tournament this time around.
