American President Donald Trump will be invited to attend the NRL’s curtain-raising double-header in Las Vegas.
The competition will take over Sin City for the second straight year with four NRL sides, a Super League fixture and a historic women’s international clash set to entertain fans at Allegiant Stadium.
“We’d love to have the president there – we will certainly be inviting Mr Trump,” Australian Rugby League Commission supremo Peter V’landys stated ahead of the showpiece event on Saturday, March 1.
“It would pay dividends because it would generate significant publicity across America and worldwide.”
