When Allisha Gray was announced as a participant in the 2024 Skills Challenge and 3-Point Contest at the WNBA’s All-Star Weekend, few anticipated she would come out victorious in both—and that’s exactly what happened Friday night.
Gray dominated the Skills Challenge, winning both the first and final rounds Fridy night to earn the title of the most technically sound player in the league.
The Atlanta Dream guard beat Phoenix Mercury guard Sophie Cunningham by 2.1 seconds to take home the hardware before her appearance in the 3-Point Contest.

She then narrowly won the 3-Point Contest by one over New York’s Jonquel Jones, scoring 22 points.
Gray has played in the WNBA since 2017, when she won Rookie of the Year. She is making her second All-Star weekend appearance after finally making her first All-Star Game last year. Gray joined the Dream in 2023 after five years with the Dallas Wings.
