Novak Djokovic is the world No.1 in men’s tennis, having returned to the top of the rankings on January 30, 2023, a day after the Australian Open final.
The Serbian defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in straight sets to secure his 10th Australian Open triumph and in the process return to the top of the world rankings.
He’s also now level with rival Rafael Nadal on 22 Grand Slam singles titles.
On February 20, Djokovic equalled Steffi Graf’s long-standing record of 377 weeks at the top of tennis’ rankings. A week later, he set a new outright leading benchmark.
