Matt Crocker is set to replace Earnie Stewart as sporting director for the United States Soccer Federation.
Stewart left the role back in February to become director of football at PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivisie. After a three-month search, Crocker looks to be taking over the job.
Crocker has already announced that he will leave his role as Southampton’s director of football operations at the end of this season. It seems like he has beaten former USA internationals Oguchi Onyewu and Tab Ramos to the role.
Here is what you need to know about Crocker ahead of the appointment.
