A red hot start to the tournament saw Vondrousova pick up back to back straight-sets victories in her first two matches. After defying the odds to defeat number 4 seed, Jessica Pegula in the quarter-finals, Vondrousova swept up Elina Svitolina and booked her spot in the final.
Her opponent, Ons Jabeur, is also in search of her first Grand Slam title and is the favourite to take the crown on July 15.
