Where to watch WNBA playoffs: Minnesota Lynx vs. Connecticut Sun preview, bracket, prediction, schedule, TV

Date:

The Connecticut Sun used every bit of their playoff experience and hard-nosed defense to outlast the Minnesota Lynx in Game 1 of the team’s semifinal series. Alyssa Thomas finished with a near-triple-double of 17 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists, and hit the two biggest shots of the game in the closing minute to secure the win, 73-70. The Sun have now stolen homecourt advantage in this best-of-five matchup.

The Lynx reached this point by sweeping the Phoenix Mercury in the first round, while the Sun did the same to the Indiana Fever. This is the first time Minnesota has reached this stage since 2020, while Connecticut is back for the sixth consecutive season.
