An ongoing rivalry will be reignited as No. 2 Boston College and No. 3 Northwestern meet in the NCAA women’s lacrosse tournament semifinals this weekend.
Boston College (19-2) has remained a superpower this season after winning the title in 2024, going undefeated through April until meeting North Carolina. The Golden Eagles were able to beat Northwestern in February, but all bets are off when it comes to the Final Four.
In similar fashion, Northwestern (18-2) has stayed dominant despite losing the championship to the Golden Eagles by one goal last May. The Wildcats have had two losses all season, one to North Carolina and again to Boston College.
Will BC be able to eliminate Northwestern again, or will the Wildcats avenge their title loss?
