Where is Emma Raducanu ranked nearly three months after multiple surgeries?

Emma Raducanu dropped further 34 positions on this week’s updated WTA rankings and she is now ranked at No 186 in the world. Raducanu, a former world No 10, hasn’t played since suffering a Stuttgart first-round loss in mid-April.

After announcing multiple surgeries in early May, Raducanu exited the top-100 for the first time since entering it in 2021 September. Last week, a WTA 1000 event in Cincinnati was taking place. Last year in Cincinnati, Raducanu made the round-of-16 before losing to Jessica Pegula.

Since Raducanu wasn’t able to play in Cincinnati and didn’t defend her points earned at the tournament in 2022, she experienced another drop in the rankings this week.

Raducanu tipped to ‘comfortably return’ to the top-100

In a recent interview, former British No 1 Tim Henman tipped Raducanu to “comfortably” return to the top-100.

Henman, who followed Raducanu’s run to the Indian Wells round-of-16 earlier this year, explained that the Briton wasn’t anywhere near her best in the desert but still made a good run.
