Katie Ledecky’s 2024 Olympics are off and running … or rather, swimming.
The USA swim star kicked off the competition in Paris yesterday. Ledecky took part in the women’s 400m freestyle, where she finished third behind Australia’s Ariarne Titmus and Canada’s Summer McIntosh, earning a bronze medal for her performance.
Ledecky already has cemented her status as one of the greatest Olympians of all time. The seven-time Olympic gold medalist is one of the most decorated American female swimmers of all time, entering the 2024 Paris Olympics with a total of 10 medals to her name.
