The Atlanta Dream (6-7) will host the Indiana Fever (6-10) at State Farm Arena on Friday night. The Fever are looking for their fourth straight win, while the Dream are looking to get back on track after losing five of their last seven games.
In their first meeting of the season on June 13, the Fever beat the Dream at home. Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell combined for 51 of the team’s 91 points, shooting 19-of-35 from the field. Caitlin Clark had just seven points, but she did manage to dish out six assists. Rhyne Howard had her best scoring night of the season for the Dream with 26 points in 28 minutes.
The Fever are coming off a victory over the Washington Mystics and looking to extend their longest winning streak of the season. The Dream dropped a road game against the Minnesota Lynx on Wednesday and also lost Howard to a lower leg injury. She is listed as out on Atlanta’s injury report for Friday’s game.
