UConn continued its winning streak this past weekend against St. John’s despite another devastating injury, this time to forward Aubrey Griffin.

She’ll be out for the season with a torn ACL, but the Huskies still cruised to a 92-49 win over the Red Storm this past week for UConn’s 10th consecutive win. The Huskies are undefeated in the Big East and 14-3 on the season.

Seton Hall followed up a big loss to the Marquette this past week with a big win over Xavier this past weekend. The Pirates beat the Musketeers, 61-47, to improve to 11-6 and 3-3 in the Big East.

This will be the first of two matches against these conferences foes over the next three weeks. Seton Hall hosts UConn this time around before the Pirates head to Storrs, Connecticut, on Feb. 7.

Huskies junior guard Paige Bueckers continues to lead the charge for UConn. She scored 22 points in her most recent game and averages a team-high 19.1 points per game this season. Bueckers shoots at a 54.6% clip, but is especially deadly behind the arc with a 48.6% 3-point shooting percentage. Senior forward Aaliyah Edwards is the enforcer down low, averaging 16.6 points per game and a team-leading 8.3 rebounds per game.
