UConn jumped two spots in the AP Top 25 poll, earning the No. 5 spot after defeating South Carolina on Sunday.
The Huskies earned their signature victory of the season, blowing out the Gamecocks on the road. It was a break from Big East play, but they returned to the conference schedule with a win over Seton Hall on Wednesday.
Now, the Huskies take on Butler for the final road game of the regular season. Butler is just 15-14 on the season and well out of contention for the Big East regular season title.
Meanwhile, UConn is 15-0 in conference play but is just one game ahead of Creighton. That matchup will take place on Thursday, Feb. 27.
Paige Bueckers and Sarah Strong have been great all season, but Azzi Fudd has come alive lately, posting 34 and 28 points in recent games. The team already has depth, so a third star in Fudd would be incredible to have for a March Madness run.
