It is the first NCAA Tournament appearance for the Red Wolves (21-10). Arkansas State recorded the program’s highest win total since the 2015-2016 season, beating James Madison 86-79 in the Sun Belt Championship final to clinch an appearance.
Leading the team in points per game is Zyion Shannon (11.0). Kennedie Montue is right behind her (10.4). Wynter Rogers (6.1) leads in rebounds, while Crislyn Rose leads in assists (4.5).
