Stanford looks to build on its Pac-12 lead against Cal tonight. The Cardinal rank first in the conference at 11-2, while the Golden Bars rank seventh at 5-8
A huge 21-point outing from Stanford star Cameron Brink vaulted the Cardinal over Washington State this past Sunday for the team’s third consecutive win. Cal is on a two-game winning streak itself after the Golden Bars dropped seven of the previous eight games.
Brink and fellow forward Kiki Iriafen lead the Cardinal in the frontcourt and average 18.0 and 18.3 points per game, respectively. Both average double-digit rebound totals, too, with 11. 8 for Brink and 10.7 for Iriafen.
Cal, meanwhile, is led by guards Ioanna Krimili and Leilani McIntosh. Krimili leads the team with 15.9 points, while McIntosh averages 10.2 points and a team-high 5.4 assists per game. Forward Marta Suarez adds 12.0 points herself with a team-best 6.6 rebounds.
Stanford has a top-20 scoring offense this year that averages 79.6 points per game. The Cardinal allow 58.4 pointers per game. Cal averages just 67.9 points per game and allows 64.8 points.
