The Sooners (50-7) booked their ticket to yet another trip to Oklahoma City with a clean sweep of SEC foe Alabama at the Norman super regional. Oklahoma once again stands at least five wins away from the national title, which would be its fifth straight.
The Volunteers (45-15) earned their trip to the WCWS with a series win over unseeded Nebraska at the Knoxville super regional. Tennessee hopes to play spoiler Thursday and make Oklahoma’s march to the trophy a bit trickier.
