Iowa and Virginia Tech will collide on Thursday night for an early-season matchup between top-10 teams.
The No. 3 Hawkeyes are coming off a dominant win over Fairleigh Dickinson in which Caitlin Clark totaled 28 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds. If Iowa can defeat Virginia Tech, it may be able to jump up to No. 1 in the AP poll because LSU fell to Colorado in its season opener.

As Hawkeyes coach Lisa Bluder described it, this game is “one of the premier matchups of the non-conference season nationally.”
