All-American guard Caitlin Clark and No. 3 Iowa will take their road show to Maryland for a Big Ten matchup on Saturday.
Clark had 35 points, 10 assists and six rebounds in a 110-74 victory over Northwestern on Wednesday night. It was her 54th career double-double and 50th career game with at least 30 points.
Clark is now second on the NCAA’s all-time scoring list after passing Jackie Stiles (Missouri State) and Kelsey Mitchell (Ohio State). Clark is on track to jump ahead of Kelsey Plum (Washington) and become the all-time scoring leader later this month.
Maryland dropped a conference game to No. 10 Indiana on Wednesday night, marking the Terrapins’ sixth loss in their last nine games. Jakia Brown-Turner led Maryland with 22 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the field.
Shyanne Sellers, who leads Maryland in points, rebounds, assists and blocks, did not play against the Hoosiers. Her presence would give the Terps a much better chance of pulling off the upset.
