Sunday will be a battle of the Big I’s when Iowa hosts Indiana women’s basketball.
Last time the two faced off, the Hoosiers upset the Hawkeyes in their penultimate home game of the 2024 regular season. But Indiana hasn’t been able to get it done in Iowa City since 2021. Regardless, these two squads look a lot different from last year’s meetings, so anything can happen.
Iowa suffered its first home loss of the season Thursday in an unexpected defeat to Illinois. While the game saw Lucy Olsen and Hannah Stuelke reach double-digit points, Stuelke also recording a double-double, there was little to no production from the rest of the Hawkeyes. If Iowa wants to take down Indiana, it needs to clean things up.
