No. 11 Colorado and No. 12 UCLA meet in massive Pac-12 game on Monday night, both sitting two games back of Stanford for first place in the conference as the regular season winds down.
The Buffaloes (20-6, 10-5 Pac-12) are mired in their first three-game losing streak since January 2022. In its most recent game, Colorado lost to No. 7 USC 87-81 at the Galen Center on Friday.
The Buffaloes had five players finish in double-figure scoring. Aaronette Vonleh led the the team with 18 points.
Wooden Award Late Season Top 20 candidate Jaylyn Sherrod scored 11 points and a team-high six assists. Quay Miller (12 points), Kindyll Wetta (11) and Maddie Nolan (11) rounded out the scoring.
USC’s JuJu Watkins Watkins scored 42 points — the most scored against the Buffaloes since Lindsey Wilson of Iowa State dropped 41 on Feb. 26, 2003.
The Buffaloes finished with 22 assists, marking the 16th game of the season with 20 or more assists.
UCLA (21-5, 10-5) has won four of its last five games and play its second straight ranked opponent in Colorado on Monday. The Bruins then finish the regular season with games against Arizona and Arizona State.
