The beginning of the new year means a fresh start. It also means that WrestleMania is close. After months of waiting, wrestling fans will see their favorite stars compete at WrestleMania 39.
WrestleMania 39 will take place at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on April 1 and April 2. This will be the first time California has hosted a WrestleMania event since 2015. Levi’s Stadium hosted that year, with over 76,976 fans in attendance.
Charlotte Flair defends the WWE SmackDown Women’s Title against Royal Rumble winner Rhea Ripley. This will be a rematch from WrestleMania 36, when Charlotte beat Ripley to win the NXT Women’s Title. The ultimate revenge story for Ripley, this match showcases the growth of both women.

“WrestleMania 36 exceeded expectations, and that was just scratching the surface,” Charlotte told Daily Mail. “That was literally… we found out we were first, we put the match together in three hours, maybe even two, then we had the match in front of no fans.
