With the 2024-2025 regular season done and dusted, women’s college basketball teams all around the country now turn their attention to conference tournaments in hopes of securing a spot in the NCAA Tournament.
The WCC will hold its women’s basketball tournament this week. All 11 teams from the conference will head to the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas in hopes of being named the WCC tournament champion.
Slotted as the top seed is Gonzaga, which finished the regular season at 22-9 overall and 17-3 in the conference. The Bulldogs also enter the tournament on a two-game win streak. Gonzaga’s first game of the tournament will be in the semifinal round on Monday, March 10.
Portland, Washington State and Oregon State round out the rest of the top 4 seeds.
