Stanford stumbled against USC on Jan. 15 but seemed to get back in the groove with a string of wins over conference foes including Utah, Oregon State and Oregon. The Cardinal outperformed the Huskies in field goal shooting (48 percent to Washington’s 43.1 percent), 3-pointers (43.8 percent to 30 percent) and free throws (92.3 percent to 76.2 percent) but came up short after allowing Washington to score 30 points in the second quarter Sunday.

Haley Jones led Stanford with 18 points, four rebounds and seven assists while Brooke Demetre also contributed 15 points, four rebounds and two assists off the bench.
