The Western Athletic Conference (WAC) has officially set the stage for the 2025 WAC Women’s Basketball Tournament, which tips off from March 11-15 following the conclusion of Saturday’s action.
At the top of the heap sits Grand Canyon, locking down the No. 1 seed in dominant fashion after steamrolling through conference play with a flawless 16-0 record and finishing the season at 29-2 overall. The Lopes now get to kick back and wait to see who emerges from the opening-round clash between No. 8 Utah Tech (5-24, 1-15 WAC) and No. 9 Seattle U (4-25, 1-15 WAC).
That showdown gets underway on March 11 at 2 p.m. ET at Burns Arena in St. George, Utah. The winner will earn a date with the red-hot Lopes in the quarterfinals on March 12 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, where Grand Canyon will look to keep their dominance rolling on the road to the title.
