Virginia Women’s Tennis | Virginia Announces 2024 Dual Match Schedule

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia women’s tennis team announced its 2024 dual match schedule today (Nov. 8) with 12 home matches to be played at the indoor and outdoor courts at the Boar’s Head Resort.

Spring dual match season opens with a doubleheader against Richmond and James Madison on Friday, Jan. 18.

For the second straight year, the Cavaliers will be hosting ITA Kickoff Weekend matches (Jan. 26-27) with Texas Tech, Wisconsin and Georgia Tech coming to compete for a spot at the ITA National Team Indoor Championships, which are being held this year in Seattle.

The Cavaliers host six ACC opponents, kicking off conference play with five straight road matches before hosting Syracuse on Friday, March 22. UVA wraps up the regular season with home matches against Miami (April 12) and Florida State (Apr. 14).

The ACC Championships will be held April 17-21 at the Cary Tennis Center in Cary, N.C.

The NCAA Women’s Tennis Championship will begin with regional action at sites on May 3-4. Super Regionals for the final 16 teams will be held at eight sites May 10-12. The team finals, featuring eight teams, begin on May 16 in Stillwater, Okla., with the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships taking place after the conclusion of the team tournament.
