Venus Williams reveals she has been “mostly off my feet” since suffering a leg injury at Wimbledon but noted she is working on returning to action soon. Williams, 43, slipped on the grass and injured her early in her Wimbledon first-round match against Elina Svitolina.
This week, the Montreal organizers announced that Williams was granted a main draw wildcard into the upcoming WTA 1000 event in Canada, which starts on August 7th. During a Q&A session on Instagram, Williams was asked to share the latest regarding her injury and plans for the upcoming period.“I am walking around doing my thing but most of the time have been off my feet but I’m working on getting back on Tour,” Williams said.
