Great tension on the court during the very tough confrontation between Venus Williams and Camila Giorgi, at the WTA 250 in Birmingham, for a curious episode that certainly did not go unnoticed. During a long exchange of the first set, the US legend slipped and fell quite hard on the lawn.
The Italian player got the point and then exulted with a scream to charge, even though she realized that her opponent had ended up on the ground. A bad unsportsmanlike gesture by the Italian, almost incomprehensible, which has been criticized and not a little on social networks by fans.
