Venus and Serena Williams are ready for a new investment in Belgium. As reported by essentiallysports.com, Belgium is the latest European country to welcome Shares, an online investment platform that has become famous thanks to the support of the two US tennis players.

Shares announced in 2022 that the Williams sisters had invested in the platform. The platform revealed the sisters’ appointment as the first brand ambassadors. When Venus and Serena’s appointment as brand ambassadors of the platform was announced, it had already garnered more than 150,000 users.

Additionally, the platform raised $40 million in a funding round led by the Valar Fund, and this caught the attention of Venus and Serena. Serena told about: “It’s rare to find companies that are equally passionate about opening up opportunities and breaking down the barriers to entry that have kept traditional spaces like investing from being fully inclusive.” The platform is already present in the UK, France and Poland. The Williams sisters are not only the marketing ambassadors of the platform, they are also among its shareholders.
