The United States Women’s National Team will look to qualify for the knockout round when they take on Germany in a Group B soccer matchup at the 2024 Paris Olympics on Sunday. The Americans are coming off a 3-0 win over Zambia, while Germany stunned Australia 3-0 on Thursday. The United States, who have won four of the past five matchups with Germany, are unbeaten at 7-0-3 over their past 10 matches since losing 2-0 to Mexico on Feb. 26 during the group stage of the Gold Cup. The Germans, who have won two consecutive matches after a stunning 3-0 defeat to Iceland on July 12 in the UEFA Euro 2025 qualifying, are looking to win their second Olympic gold medal after winning it in 2016 in Brazil.
