U.S. women’s national team midfielder Lindsey Horan discussed the team’s Women’s World Cup exit, captaining the squad and more, saying Tuesday, “We did not get the best out of every single individual.” Here’s what you need to know:

“At the end of the day, you’re set up in a structure to do this, and your opportunity individually (is) just go play within the structure,” Horan said. “But if you’re not set up — like the game against Sweden, I don’t think we were necessarily set up to play the way that we played.
